En plein air
‘It’s a metaphorical dialogue with other souls that I conduct as an open-air project. I share what my eyes see and leave the artworks to live their own lives. This gesture gives me a necessary separation from the fact that I’m an artist.’

I love you
‘For some time, I wanted to express my deep affection for this beautiful creature that came into my life. As with all loss, sadness inevitably plays a part — but I longed to capture joy, not grief.
My early attempts felt too heavy, missing the celebration I intended. When we reflect on those we’ve loved and lost, we often prefer to honour the happiness of shared experience rather than dwell in sorrow.
The simplicity of childlike drawing — spontaneous, limitless, deeply personal — finally evoked the feeling I had longed to relive.’

Manifesto
'It’s the antithesis of Marcel Duchamp’s statement. Contrary to him, I think that artists are just human beings and, like all human beings, they have their weaknesses and limitations. I also take the view that we shouldn’t arbitrarily believe in others, but rather give our trust to those who earn it. Conversely, I believe that art, as a concept, has a much more noble purpose.'

'I love to paint outdoors, where there’s a constant dialogue of acceptance, transformation, and the influence of weather conditions. When I sense that the artwork is nearly complete, I finish the rest in the studio. I have no cerebral thoughts during the entire process, and for this reason, the title is simply the date the work is finished.'
