IMPREINT is set to unveil VANITAS, an exhibition featuring two of the artist's latest collections, where he pushes the boundaries between art, history, and contemporary dialogue.
“As an artist and a human being, I felt compelled to offer a new perspective – transforming vulgarity into dignity, tragedy into hope, and horror into beauty.”
In Entartete Kunst, the artist revisits one of the most turbulent periods in art history: the Nazi regime's condemnation of so-called "degenerate art." By reimagining and reconceptualizing the visual language of that era through a modernist lens, IMPREINT transforms once-stigmatised imagery into universally accessible works. This collection not only pays homage to the resilience of artistic expression but also stands as a powerful statement on art's enduring role in shaping cultural memory.
“For years, I dreamed of creating a vast series of works united under a single title.”
In It Means Absolutely Nothing, IMPREINT explores the symbiotic relationship between art and the economy. This collection challenges conventional notions of artistic value and production, rejecting the elitist confines of wealth and traditional mediums. Each work embodies the freedom and security found in simplicity, creating a conceptual space where art and economy engage in a dynamic and inclusive conversation.
