Save me.
Since 2013, Save me. has been a worldwide art project led by the artist IMPREINT, created with the intent of uniting people—particularly children—through shared creative experience. At its heart lies a simple yet profound idea: that art has the power to connect individuals beyond social boundaries, empowering them to explore their imagination and do something meaningful together.
The title Save me. originates from one of IMPREINT’s earliest canvas works. Far from a plea, the phrase served as an affirmation—a declaration that creativity can be a response to life’s complexity. The workshops continue this spirit, offering participants the opportunity to engage in artistic expression as an act of connection and purpose.
Each workshop is shaped by a commitment to inclusivity, collaboration, and the belief that creativity belongs to everyone. With no barriers of social class or geography, Save me. workshops intentionally welcome all participants on equal ground. As the artist puts it: “We don’t make distinctions between us—for a common intent.”
Among these workshops is Magic Squares, a children’s session inspired by the Entartete Kunst collection. This specific workshop invites young participants to interpret powerful artistic themes through their own lens—free of preconceptions and with an unfiltered imagination. IMPREINT is continually inspired by the honesty and depth of children’s interpretations, which play a vital role in shaping the evolving language of the project.
Save me. also redefines the artist’s role—not as the necessary centrepiece, but as a catalyst. The workshops are designed so they may continue independently, even in the artist’s absence, encouraging participants to carry forward the project’s principles in their own way.
Ultimately, Save me. is not simply a series of art sessions—it is an open invitation to be part of something shared, thoughtful, and expressive. A space where creativity becomes a common language, and meaning is made together.
