Entartete Kunst

Delving into one of art history’s most harrowing epochs, the Nazi regime's notion of Entartete Kunst, I undertook a transformative endeavor to reconceptualise explicit material. This project transforms graphic images with a style inspired by Paul Klee’s 'Magic Squares,' channeling the spirit of Klee, who himself suffered under persecution. The reconfiguration of the original images seeks to render them universally accessible, marrying the beauty of expanded imagination with the expungement of explicit content's banality. This work is a tribute to those who have been, and continue to be, marginalised and silenced by societal mores.
